Why We Built This Site
Public access in Texas depends on both the kind of record and the court that holds it. The Comal County District Clerk keeps District Court filings and case histories, while the County Clerk and County Courts at Law handle a different record set. Justice and municipal matters stay with their own clerks. Odyssey is the county search route, and re:SearchTX supplies statewide access. This site organizes those official portals, contact points, and copy procedures without acting as a court or storing the official record.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket guides: how criminal court dockets and civil court dockets are found and read in Comal County
- Court settings: how to read the court schedule and verify a hearing with the responsible court
- Case lookups: how to use the county and statewide routes described in docket search
- Copy requests: how court case records and certified copies are ordered from the correct clerk
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a Texas court, clerk, or state agency. Its role has firm limits:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
Search Partners
Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep this site free for visitors. We do not control what those tools charge or what shows up in their results.
